Feldman Shepherd is pleased to announce that attorney Bethany R. Nikitenko has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Founded in 1802, the Philadelphia Bar Association is the oldest association of lawyers in the United States. With 12,000 members, its mission is to serve the profession and the public by promoting justice, professional excellence and respect for the rule of law.
Nikitenko presently serves as the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Vice Chair of the Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee and will continue in that post. In 2018, she was honored by the association with its Craig M. Perry Service Award for her numerous volunteer activities, which have included serving as a volunteer attorney for Philadelphia VIP, serving as a member of the Development Committee for Women Against Abuse, and serving on the Executive Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Jewish Committee.
“It is a tremendous honor and privilege to be appointed to this role to represent the members of the Philadelphia Bar Association. In this position, I hope to carry on the important traditions of the association, which include improving access to justice for the entire Philadelphia community,” said Nikitenko.
“Service to our community and our profession have always been part of the culture at our firm. We are delighted that Bethany will continue this important work as a member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association,” said Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman.
At Feldman Shepherd, Nikitenko represents individuals and families who have been catastrophically injured by medical malpractice, auto and motor vehicle accidents, unsafe buildings, defective products, and sexual abuse.
