Feldman Shepherd is pleased to announce that trial attorney Reginald L. Streater was named as one of “Philadelphia’s Most Influential African Americans of 2025” by The Philadelphia Tribune.
Streater was selected in the “Movers and Shakers” category, which recognizes people who make things happen in the Philadelphia region beyond their individual position or title. This is the third consecutive year that Streater has received the “Movers and Shakers” honor. Also, in 2021 and 2022, Streater was recognized as an “African-American Leader” by The Philadelphia Tribune.
At Feldman Shepherd, Streater represents individuals and families in all manner of catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice and civil rights cases. He also serves as president of the Philadelphia Board of Education, where he oversees approximately 200,000 students, 20,000 employees, a significant portfolio of school district properties, and a budget of $4.5 billion. In his community, Streater is a champion of DEI, scholarship, mentorship and leadership initiatives.
Honorees were recognized at a ceremony held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on September 18, 2025.
“I am honored to be recognized by The Philadelphia Tribune, a historic African American newspaper. This honor is shared with everyone who enables, supports, and protects my ability to show up in many roles, including my family, my colleagues at Feldman Shepherd, and the remarkable Philadelphia Board of Education and School District. It takes a village to ‘move and shake,’” said Streater.
“Reggie continues to motivate and inspire others with his contributions to the Philadelphia community,” said Feldman Shepherd Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman. “Our firm is delighted to support his important work.”
