Alan M. Feldman, Carol Nelson Shepherd and Ezra Wohlgelernter will help the Philadelphia Bar Association launch a new program to assist law firms of all sizes and types in serving the changing needs of tomorrow’s clients.
Feldman, Shepherd and Wohlgelernter will speak at the first Law Firm Laboratory session, a free program series and ongoing incubator of innovative ideas, strategies and concepts for starting and nurturing new law firms. New this year to the city’s bar association, the Law Firm Laboratory was created by association Chancellor William P. Fedullo.
Entitled “Starting and Building a Successful Law Practice & Serving the Changing Needs of Tomorrow’s Clients,” the Feldman Shepherd presentation will share valuable insights from two of Philadelphia’s most successful trial attorneys.
Feldman started his own law firm in 1987 with just a few files in a sublet office. Together with Nelson Shepherd and Wohlgelernter, he presided over the firm’s development into one of the region’s premier personal injury boutiques.
In the program, Feldman and Shepherd will share their thoughts on what it takes to create a successful law practice. They also will answer questions from lawyers who have made, or are considering, the jump from employee to owner-operator of their own firms.
