Overview

Mark A. Schork concentrates his practice in representing individuals who have suffered serious injuries from medical malpractice, product defects, and other catastrophic accidents. He has helped to secure numerous multimillion-dollar recoveries that have provided his clients with financial security and allowed them to get the treatment and rehabilitation they need.

Mark has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2022, and in 2023 was recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.

Mark is a prolific writer and serves on the Amicus Curiae Committee for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where he volunteers to write appellate briefs in support of plaintiffs’ rights. Mark is also on the Editorial Board for the Verdict, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s quarterly magazine that provides updates on Pennsylvania law and other insights on legal issues. Mark is also a Case Summary Editor for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Magazine and publishes quarterly articles about recent appellate cases.

Mark dedicates much of his time to serving the community. He regularly volunteers on a pro bono basis for Philadelphia VIP, where he handles cases involving child custody and other family law disputes. He is also a Board Observer for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, an organization dedicated to providing free legal services for low-income people with disabilities, chronic health conditions, and mental health diagnoses. Mark also regularly volunteers to speak at local schools about the practice of law.

Mark is heavily involved in legal organizations including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and Philadelphia Bar Association. In 2026, Mark was elected to the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Mark was then appointed to serve as pro bono chair of the Executive Committee.

Mark earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation from Temple’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Program, where he went on to serve as a teaching assistant. Mark received several awards for outstanding oral advocacy and was recognized for distinguished performance in Civil Trial Advocacy, among other honors. He was a Rubin Public Interest Honors Society Fellow, a recognition conferred upon students who show outstanding commitment to public service. Mark continues to stay involved in the law school through regular speaking engagements and the Temple Law Alumni Association through which he has helped to launch programming for recent graduates.

Mark earned a B.A. in Philosophy magna cum laude from The University of Scranton, where he graduated with honors, was recognized in “Who’s Who of College Students” and was a varsity athlete on Scranton’s crew team. Currently, Mark sits on the University of Scranton’s Alumni Advisory Board where he serves on the Young Alumni Committee.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys guitar, boxing and chess.
