On September 17, 2016, at a banquet celebrating the 130th Anniversary of the founding of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), attorney Roberta D. Pichini received The Distinguished Alumnus Award. The award recognizes a Penn Nursing graduate, who is a leader with an outstanding career that has advanced the profession of nursing. HUP alumni maintain a rich tradition as educators, clinicians, and administrators who elevate the quality of care for each and every one of their patients. The HUP Nursing Alumni Association works in partnership with Penn Nursing Alumni to honor this legacy and maintain the growth and education of their current, future, and past nurses.
