Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP is pleased to announce that co-founding shareholder Ezra Wohlgelernter, who currently serves as Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of SeniorLAW Center, recognizing more than 20 years of service to the organization.
Wohlgelernter’s involvement with SeniorLAW Center began in 2006. Over the past two decades, he has contributed to its governance and advocacy efforts, supporting its mission to protect vulnerable older adults from exploitation, secure public benefits, and preserve independence and dignity.
In remarks delivered at the March 25 induction, Wohlgelernter emphasized the role of legal advocates in safeguarding seniors’ rights. “The work of SeniorLAW Center’s attorneys, advocates, and staff is about more than navigating complex systems—it is about ensuring that the law functions as a tool for dignity and protection,” he said. “From courtrooms to legislative advocacy in Harrisburg and Washington, this work reflects a fundamental commitment to justice for elders.”

Wohlgelernter also noted that the recognition reflects the broader efforts of those working within the organization. “This honor belongs to those who do the work every day—often without recognition—but with a clear sense of purpose and responsibility to those they serve,” he said.
As Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Wohlgelernter has prioritized issues related to access to justice and the legal profession's role in protecting vulnerable populations.
At Feldman Shepherd, Wohlgelernter maintains a diverse practice portfolio including motor vehicle and truck accident litigation, premises liability claims, medical negligence litigation, and significant personal injury claims.
“Throughout his career, Ezra has been a role model for attorneys who understand that service to the profession and to our community is part and parcel of being a true Philadelphia Lawyer,” said Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman. “It’s wonderful to see his efforts on behalf of the SeniorLAW Center recognized by his induction into their Hall of Fame.”
