The law firm of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP is pleased to announce that Zac Arbitman has been named a partner.
Arbitman, who joined Feldman Shepherd in December 2021, leads the firm’s whistleblower practice and represents plaintiffs in other high-stakes civil litigation, including catastrophic personal injury and class action cases. As lead counsel in the whistleblower practice, Arbitman brings claims on behalf of whistleblowers under state and federal False Claims Acts, various state whistleblower statutes, and the SEC, CFTC, IRS, AML, and NHTSA whistleblower programs. Over his career, he has helped whistleblower clients achieve many significant recoveries, including in cases where the government has declined to intervene. His class action practice is equally diverse and centers on important consumer protection cases—namely, product liability, false advertising, and antitrust matters. His personal injury practice is comprised of a wide array of cases involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, unsafe premises, unsafe products, and civil rights violations.
An active member of Philadelphia’s legal and civic community, Arbitman has served as a volunteer attorney on behalf of several clients referred by Philadelphia VIP and has been recognized by the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania over multiple years on its annual Pro Bono Roll of Honor. Arbitman is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Public Interest Law Center and is Co-Chair of its Nominations Committee. He is also involved in the Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund, a nonprofit public interest organization dedicated to combating fraud against the Government, and is a member of its Conference and Member Education Committee. Previously, he served on the Executive Committee of Justice Rising Advocates for Community Legal Services of Philadelphia. He frequently presents at continuing legal education programs.
“We are delighted to welcome Zac as a partner at our firm,” said Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman. “His experience and expertise in a wide range of practice areas will provide a significant benefit to our clients and referring attorneys.”
“I am thrilled to be named a partner at Feldman Shepherd. The firm is a special place, and it is gratifying to receive this kind of support from my colleagues. It’s an honor to represent whistleblowers, consumers, and catastrophic injury victims in their most important cases. And it’s an honor to be able to do it at Feldman Shepherd.”
