Feldman Shepherd Trial Lawyers Present Creative Trial Strategies Program with The Legal Intelligencer

May 12, 2011

Various Philadelphia personal injury attorneys from the law firm of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP presented a free continuing legal education (CLE) program in conjunction with The Legal Intelligencer in April. The sold-out Philadelphia CLE, “Creative Lawyering from Investigation to Verdict,” encompassed topics such as developing theories to maximize recoveries; advancing those theories during discovery and at trial; questions, answers and advice; and ethics for trial lawyers.

More than 100 Pennsylvania attorneys attended the CLE, at which Feldman Shepherd trial lawyers Alan M. Feldman, Ezra Wohlgelernter, Daniel S. Weinstock, Roberta D. Pichini, Daniel J. Mann, Jason A. Daria, Edward S. Goldis and Carolyn M. Chopko served as faculty. The attorneys covered in detail such topics as discovering “non-obvious” theories of liability, securing the plaintiff’s chosen venue, creative approaches to medical malpractice cases, strategies in police pursuit matters, component manufacturer liability in product liability cases, discovery and recovery techniques for auto accident and trucking cases, overcoming the defense of intoxication and using mock juries to evaluate cases. The program closed with an ethics presentation by Fox Rothschild Co-Chair Abraham C. Reich and Feldman Shepherd trial lawyer Thomas Martin.

Feldman Shepherd trial attorneys represent plaintiffs in significant personal injury, class action and other complex civil litigation. Several of their lawyers have received certification as Civil Trial Specialists by the National Board of Trial Advocacy; acted as course planners and lecturers at more than 100 programs devoted to litigation matters; taught trial advocacy at area law schools; and published countless articles in legal journals, texts and course books, among other achievements.
