Feldman Shepherd is pleased to announce that trial attorney Reginald L. Streater was named as one of “Philadelphia’s Most Influential African Americans of 2024” by The Philadelphia Tribune.
Streater was selected in the “Movers and Shakers” category, which recognizes people who make things happen in the Philadelphia region beyond their individual position or title. This is the second consecutive year that Streater has received the “Movers and Shakers” honor. Also, in 2021 and 2022, Streater was recognized as an “African-American Leader” by The Philadelphia Tribune.
At Feldman Shepherd, Streater represents individuals and families in all manner of catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice and civil rights cases. He also serves as president of the Philadelphia Board of Education, where he oversees approximately 200,000 students, 20,000 employees, a significant portfolio of school district properties, and a budget of $4.5 billion. In his community, Streater is a champion of DEI, scholarship, mentorship and leadership initiatives.
Honorees were recognized at a ceremony held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on September 26, 2024.
“It is truly special to be honored by the oldest African American newspaper in the United States, and I am deeply grateful. This recognition is a testament to the village that has poured into me, shaping who I am today. I also want to express my appreciation to Feldman Shepherd for the unwavering support and the belief that attorneys should not only be zealous advocates for our clients but also social engineers for progress,” said Streater.
“We are very proud of Reggie’s extraordinary service not only to our clients but to the broader Philadelphia community,” said Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman. “He has truly earned this important recognition from The Philadelphia Tribune.”
