Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP is pleased to announce that personal injury attorney and firm Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman has been invited to join the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL). Chartered in 1954 to facilitate the administration of justice and promote the rule of law internationally, IATL limits its invitation-only membership to 500 U.S. fellows, as well as fellows from more than 30 other countries. Prospective fellows undergo a rigorous review that includes legal skills, character, integrity and trial record.
“I am honored to be invited into the esteemed membership ranks of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers,” said Feldman. “IATL membership marks a significant milestone, and I look forward to participating in the IATL’s many worthy endeavors within the national and international legal communities.”
Feldman will be inducted into the IATL during the organization’s 2012 Mid-Year Meeting, to be held from July 25 through 29 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vail, Colo.
Feldman has been winning verdicts and settlements in serious personal injury and class action matters for more than 30 years. A sampling of his recent successes includes a $26.1 million settlement for a fatal injury and a traumatic brain injury to occupants of a car struck by a tractor-trailer, a $4.5 million verdict for a warehouse worker injured by a brake failure on a pallet truck, an $18 million settlement for death and injuries caused by a defective portable heater, a $10 million settlement in an airbag non-deployment case, a verdict of more than $4 million for an infant killed in a trucking accident, and $6 million and $5.6 million verdicts in separate class action cases against a major automobile manufacturer.
“Alan Feldman is an ideal representative of the IATL: he possesses a diligent work ethic, character beyond reproach and an exceptional trial record,” said Feldman Shepherd Partner and 2011 IATL President Roberta D. Pichini. “I am proud to welcome Alan to IATL fellowship.”
