Personal Injury Attorney John M. Dodig Named to South Jersey Magazine’s 2011 Awesome Attorneys List

Trial lawyer John M. Dodig of the personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP, has been named to South Jersey Magazine’s 2011 Awesome Attorneys list for the second consecutive year.

South Jersey Magazine develops its list of Awesome Attorneys through a reader nomination and polling process. Thousands of the magazine’s readers submitted nominations and votes, resulting in a list of 150 lawyers practicing in more than 40 specialized areas ranging from medical malpractice and criminal defense to family law. South Jersey Magazine enjoys a readership of more than 400,000, making the magazine a premier regional publication. The Awesome Attorneys list is featured inSouth Jersey Magazine’s December issue.

Dodig brings more than two decades of legal experience to his representation of plaintiffs who have been seriously injured as a result of others’ carelessness or reckless actions. He specializes in construction, workplace and auto accidents,product liability (defective products), medical malpractice, and slip and fall matters. He has successfully obtained multiple seven- and eight-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Recently, Dodig obtained a $31 million compensatory damage verdict and $6 million verdict in two New Jersey dangerous roadway cases which have been reported as the highest civil verdicts in a personal injury case in the Camden County Superior Court and the Hunterdon County Superior Court.

Dodig served as President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association in 2006 and 2007 and on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (now known as the Pennsylvania Association for Justice). He is a frequent lecturer in courses designed to teach practicing lawyers trial advocacy skills. Dodig received his Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his law degree from Nova University. He also received a Masters of Law in Trial Advocacy from Temple University. He has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® by Thomson Reuters, published annually in Philadelphiamagazine, for eight consecutive years, and selected as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Among other honors, Dodig was also named to SJ Magazine’s 2010 and 2011 Top Attorneys lists.
