Of Counsel Albert M. Afonso

Al Afonso has spent more than 20 years as a practicing attorney. He concentrates his practice on criminal matters, matters involving the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, as well as the representation of individuals in all immigration-related matters. He was a solo practitioner for more than 10 years before founding Afonso Archie Foley, P.C.

Born in Porto, Portugal, Al is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He is the proud father of two children, and in recent years, has become cigar aficionado.

Al received his undergraduate degree from Philadelphia University and received his J.D. from The Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. He is Of Counsel to the firm and is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey.
