Overview

Mark A. Schork concentrates his practice in representing individuals who have suffered from medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injuries. He has helped to secure numerous multimillion-dollar recoveries that have provided his clients with financial security and allowed them to get the treatment and rehabilitation they need.

Mark was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2022 and 2023 and was recognized by National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in 2023.

He earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation from Temple’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Program, where he went on to serve as a teaching assistant. Mark received several awards for outstanding oral advocacy and was recognized for distinguished performance in Civil Trial Advocacy, among other honors. He was a Rubin Public Interest Honors Society Fellow, a recognition conferred upon students who show outstanding commitment to public service.

While at Temple, Mark interned for the Hon. Berle M. Schiller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He served as a research assistant at Temple’s Institute on Disabilities, where he studied the legal rights owed to disabled people and advocated for progressive change in Philadelphia. He also served as a research assistant for a law professor, where he conducted environmental law research on the role of cost-benefit analysis in the Environmental Protection Agency’s rulemaking.

Mark then became a certified legal intern for the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where he advocated for children committed to the Department of Human Service’s custody. He also assisted the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Charging Unit, where he collaborated with Assistant District Attorneys in filing formal charges against criminal defendants. While he studied for classes and held internships, Mark also clerked part-time for a Center City Philadelphia plaintiffs’ firm.

Mark earned a B.A. in Philosophy magna cum laude from The University of Scranton, where he graduated with honors, was recognized in “Who’s Who of College Students” and was a varsity athlete on Scranton’s crew team.

Mark is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys guitar, boxing and chess.
