$1.45 Million Settlement for Fatal Motorcycle Crash with Tractor-Trailer

Attorneys John M. Dodig and Jason A. Daria secured a $1.45 million settlement for the parents of 30-year-old motorcyclist who was struck by a tractor-trailer driver who recklessly made a left-hand turn into his path without looking for oncoming traffic. He sustained a traumatic leg amputation, significant blood loss and hemorrhage shock, and died later that day.

The driver was operating the tractor-trailer for a motor carrier, which should not have allowed him on the road due to documented medical issues that would affect his driving, including problems with memory, vision, balance and hearing.
