$11 Million Settlement for Victim of Motorcycle Accident

In January 2008, attorneys John M. Dodig and Jason A. Daria obtained an $11 million settlement for an individual injured while operating his motorcycle. The motorcycle was struck by a truck that was being rented. The case was hotly contested on liability with both drivers blaming the other. Accident reconstruction engineers were retained. There were accident recreation videos prepared for use at trial. The truck accident occurred in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and resulted in significant injuries to their client, including paraplegia. After years of litigation, the case settled for $11 million which will be used to provide medical care to the client for the remainder of his life.
