$2.4 Million Settlement for Injured New Jersey Motorist

Attorneys John M. Dodig and Jason A. Daria secured a settlement of $2.4 million on behalf of Keisha Young, who was injured on April 1, 2013 when the vehicle she was operating on the Atlantic City Expressway was struck by a South Jersey Gas Company service vehicle.

As a result of the crash, Ms. Young sustained multiple fractures, including an open dislocation of her right ankle that required multiple surgeries, including a fusion, resulting in permanent physical limitations. A lawsuit was filed against South Jersey Gas Company in Camden, NJ. The case was mediated before Retired Judge James Isman on June 18, 2015. The case settled at Mediation for the amount of $2.4 million, which will compensate Ms. Young for her pain and suffering and permanent physical limitations as a result of her fractured ankle.
