In April 2008, after Mediation in Camden, NJ, attorneys John M. Dodig and Jason A. Daria obtained a $2.55 million settlement for Tara Bednar. Ms. Bednar was injured in a motor vehicle accident on April 19, 2005 in Hammonton, New Jersey. Ms. Bednar’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle owned by Harold Heritage Wholesale, whose driver negligently made a left-hand turn in front of Ms. Bednar’s vehicle, resulting in a collision. As a result of the crash, Ms. Bednar sustained a fracture to her right wrist, which later developed into RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) causing pain on a daily basis. As a result of Ms. Bednar’s injury, she was forced to undergo extensive physical therapy that ultimately resulted in the implementation of a spinal cord stimulator to control her pain. The settlement was reached after a lengthy Mediation that took place over several days.
