Seven Figure Confidential Settlement for CESSNA 421 Golden Eagle Aircraft Crash Victim

Scott Vezina, a licensed pilot and experienced aircraft accident litigator helped a family of a crash victim of a CESSNA 421 in Louisiana receive a confidential settlement that will care for them for the rest of their lives. J.H., a husband and father of 3 children, was a passenger in the aircraft which shortly after takeoff, crashed short of the field.  The crash was caused by the failure of the right engine, which was manufactured by Continental/Lycoming. This particular Continental/Lycoming engine has a long history of being the cause of devastating crashes throughout the world.

Mr. Vezina was able to enter a confidential settlement on behalf of the family ensuring that they are taken care of for life. Mr. Vezina is also proceeding against one of the maintenance providers that the National Transportation Board determined to be at fault. Scott has litigated numerous aircraft crash cases throughout the world including the crash of a Westwind in Panama City, Panama; the crash of a Cessna 210 in Mendoza, Argentina; the crash of a Piper Chieftain carrying the recording artist Aaliyah Haughton in the Bahamas; and the crash of a Piper Seneca in northeast Florida. Each of these cases resulted in significant confidential settlements on behalf of the survivors and families of the deceased.
