Ezra Wohlgelernter Elected Chair of Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s Committee for a Better Tomorrow PAC

Ezra Wohlgelernter

Feldman Shepherd is pleased to announce that Ezra Wohlgelernter, a co-founding shareholder of the firm and a past president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, has been elected to serve as chair of the association’s PAC, The Committee for a Better Tomorrow (CBT). CBT is a bi-partisan organization that supports candidates for election to the state legislature and judiciary. Its mission is to support candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to social justice and equality of all citizens. The committee’s trustees, all prominent Philadelphia trial lawyers, unanimously chose Wohlgelernter to be its next chair. CBT has become a formidable presence in many critical statewide elections for its commitment to help elect pro-civil justice candidates.

As chair of CBT, Wohlgelernter will lead with his style of consensus-building his partners at Feldman Shepherd have come to know well over the past 35 years since the firm’s inception. Wohlgelernter served as president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association from 2016 to 2017 and currently serves as vice-chair of the Senior Law Center. In addition, Wohlgelernter is a leader in Philadelphia’s Jewish Community, in which he has served in many capacities over the past three decades.

“Ezra’s election as CBT chair by his fellow trustees — among whom are the leaders of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association — is a testament to his leadership and diplomacy,” said Mark W. Tanner, Feldman Shepherd’s co-managing shareholder.

“Our firm supports the mission of the Committee for a Better Tomorrow, and we are honored that our peers have recognized Ezra to assume this important leadership position,” said Alan M. Feldman, Feldman Shepherd’s co-founding and co-managing shareholder.
