July 27, 2011

Philadelphia personal injury attorneys, Mark W. Tanner and John M. Dodig of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP, recently served as hosts at the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s (PAJ) 2011 Retreat Awards Dinner at The Westin Philadelphia.

“It was our professional privilege and pleasure to emcee the PAJ Awards Dinner and honor our friends, mentors and colleagues who are paving the way in Pennsylvania’s legal industry and beyond,” said Tanner, member of the PAJ Board of Governors and Feldman Shepherd Co-Managing Partner. “John and I both firmly stand by PAJ’s mission to promote a fair and effective justice system while supporting attorneys who work to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in Pennsylvania’s courtrooms.”

Tanner is an accomplished trial attorney with a wide ranging practice in complex litigation. In addition to securing one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in the courts of Pennsylvania, he has also secured what is believed to be the largest jury verdict in the state in a bad faith case against an insurance company. His practice interests include medical negligence, disability insurance claims, insurance bad faith, product liability and class action litigation.

Dodig, a former member of the PAJ Board of Governors and Feldman Shepherd Partner, brings more than two decades of legal experience to his representation of plaintiffs who have been seriously injured as a result of others’ carelessness or recklessness. He specializes in construction, workplace and auto accidents, product liability (defective products), medical malpractice and slip and fall matters. He has successfully obtained multiple seven- and eight-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including a $31 million compensatory damage verdict in a New Jersey dangerous roadway case. This verdict has been reported as the highest verdict ever recorded in the Camden County Superior Court.
