Philadelphia Personal Injury Lawyer Ezra Wohlgelernter Elected Vice Chair of the SeniorLAW Center

Ezra Wohlgelernter, personal injury attorney and founding partner of Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP, has been elected vice chair of the SeniorLAW Center.

A member of its board since 2006, Wohlgelernter has taken a significant leadership role in the agency which provides a wide range of services to protect the legal rights and interests of the elderly. “I am passionate about elder law and advocacy issues on behalf of Pennsylvania seniors,” Wohlgelernter said. “I look forward to assuming this new position with the SeniorLAW Center and continuing the good work of the organization.”

One of the three founders of Feldman Shepherd, Wohlgelernter has successfully tried complex cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.  His practice is concentrated in medical negligence, nursing home negligence, premises liability, motor vehicle/truck litigation and other significant personal injury claims.

SeniorLAW Center was founded in 1978 as Senior Citizen Judicare Project by members of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Today, through the efforts of its dedicated and experienced legal staff and volunteers from Pennsylvania’s legal community, SeniorLAW Center serves approximately 10,000 older Pennsylvanians each year, including victims of elder abuse and financial exploitation, elders facing housing crises and homelessness, and grandparents raising grandchildren.

Wohlgelernter is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, New York and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations and a 2005, 2009, and 2010 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer®. For 30 years, he has served in various leadership positions within the Philadelphia Jewish Community, including serving as a Trustee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Auerbach Central Agency for Jewish Education, and President of the Philadelphia Community Kollel (Institute for Advanced Talmudic Research). He regularly contributes to both continuing legal education and community activity. Wohlgelernter is a Philadelphia native and graduate of Yeshiva University and Temple University School of Law.
