Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock & Dodig LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Ryan J. Murphy has joined our practice.
Murphy focuses his practice on representing individuals and families in complex catastrophic personal injury litigation. He primarily handles matters involving motor vehicle and trucking accidents, construction accidents, and premises and products liability claims in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Over his career, Murphy has represented corporations, insurers, and self-insured entities in high-exposure catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking, construction, and complex premises liability matters. Prior to joining Feldman Shepherd, he spent seven years at two defense firms, most recently in the Philadelphia office of a large law firm where he focused on catastrophic injury litigation.
An active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Murphy serves as an elected member of the Young Lawyers’ Division Executive Committee and is the committee’s financial secretary. He also helped found the “YLD Connections” Mentorship Initiative for young lawyers and law students. He is additionally an appointed member of the Association’s State Civil Litigation Section Executive Committee where he serves as a liaison to the Board of Governors.
Murphy earned his J.D. from Rutgers University Law School – Camden and his B.A. from Ursinus College.
“We are delighted to have Ryan join our team of accomplished trial lawyers. His solid experience on the defense side has honed his advocacy skills and will provide him with an insider’s perspective into how insurance carriers evaluate serious injury claims,” said Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman.
“I am thrilled to join Feldman Shepherd. It is an incredible opportunity, and I am deeply grateful to begin this exciting new chapter in my career. I am proud to join such a prestigious firm and work alongside exceptional attorneys. The firm’s reputation for zealous advocacy on behalf of catastrophically injured individuals and families is unmatched, and I look forward to bringing my litigation experience to serve our clients,” said Murphy.
