John has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2004. He is also recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Attorney in the Civil Plaintiff category. In 2004, John received The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association President’s Award, and in 2006 was elected by his peers to serve as the president of that organization. In recognition of his success at trial, in 2016 John was inducted as a fellow of the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers (membership limited to 500 lawyers).

John is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. Less than two percent of the attorneys in New Jersey have been granted this board certification, which requires a number of qualifications including recognition by peers, mandatory trial to verdict experience, and passing a rigorous written examination.

John has frequently been invited to lecture to practicing attorneys on trial tactics and trial advocacy as well as on the topics of workplace injuries, and governmental and municipal liability, including dangerous highways. Although he maintains a thriving legal career, John’s greatest love is spending time with his wife and their four amazing children, exploring the outdoors, and hitting the golf course.

After graduating from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University, John received an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
